About the person who needs care

Citizenship

This is about the home where the person who needs care lives, not yours if you live elsewhere. Add up the gross monthly income (before CPF) of all family members living there, including the person who needs care, then divide by the number of family members. Example: $6,000 shared by 3 family members is $2,000 each.

Needs help with 3 or more of: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, moving around, getting in and out of bed

These are the lowest published prices. Real bills can be higher, with deposits, transport and other charges, depending on the provider and the care needed. The subsidy percentage comes from MOH's means test; the agency decides after checking documents. Medical social workers at hospitals and AIC (1800 650 6060) can help with an application.
