Singapore scheme guideSilver Support Scheme: who qualifies and how much is paid
Rules checked 17 October 2026 against CPF Board
The Silver Support Scheme gives quarterly cash to Singapore Citizens aged 65 and above who earned low wages during their working years. CPF Board decides who qualifies from its own records, so there is nothing to apply for.
The short answer
- $215 to $1,080 every quarter, by flat type and household income.
- Singapore Citizens aged 65 and above.
- Three tests: low lifetime wages, the type of flat, and household income.
- No application. CPF Board writes to eligible seniors.
How much is the Silver Support payout?
It depends on the flat type and on household monthly income per person.
| Flat type | Income $1,500 or less | Income above $1,500 up to $2,300 |
|---|---|---|
| 1-room | $1,080 a quarter | $540 a quarter |
| 2-room | $1,080 a quarter | $540 a quarter |
| 3-room | $860 a quarter | $430 a quarter |
| 4-room | $650 a quarter | $325 a quarter |
| 5-room | $430 a quarter | $215 a quarter |
Seniors receiving ComCare Long-Term Assistance get $430 a quarter, whatever the flat type or income.
