Care at HomeUpdated November 2026 · 5 min read
When someone comes home from hospital, or can no longer manage alone, families often ask the same three things: what a nurse or carer at home costs, how much the government helps, and who to call. This guide answers all three with the published prices and subsidy table.
The short version
Home nursing starts from $62 a visit, and home personal care from $25 an hour, before subsidy (AIC).
Singapore Citizens may get up to 80% off, or up to 95% if born in 1969 or earlier. Permanent Residents may get up to 55%.
How much depends on household income per person. The provider checks this when you apply.
Providers you can contact are listed below. HomeWise is not paid to list them.
Home nursing is a registered nurse visiting for nursing care at home, such as wound dressing, injections, stoma care or a feeding tube. It is often needed after a hospital stay.
Home personal care is a trained carer helping with daily living: bathing, toileting, meals and company, and giving the family caregiver a break.
Many families use both. If you are not sure which is needed, ask the hospital team before discharge, or call the AIC hotline on 1800-650-6060.
Home nursing: from $62 a visit before subsidy. Two visits a week comes to about $540 a month.
Home personal care: from $25 an hour before subsidy. Ten hours a week comes to about $1,080 a month.
