Caring for someone at home raises questions at odd hours: what to change after a fall, which shower chair is safe, whether a subsidy covers it. The HomeWise Advisor is an AI caregiver assistant built for Singapore that answers these in plain words, with local prices and the schemes that may apply.
The short version
Describe what is happening. Get next steps, products with Singapore prices, and subsidies you may qualify for.
English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil, typed or spoken.
Free. Sign-in is optional. What you type stays on your device.
It does not give medical advice or decide eligibility. In an emergency, call 995.
Next steps for what is happening
Describe the situation in your own words, such as "Mum is unsteady in the shower". The Advisor replies with practical next steps and one question to understand more.
Products, with Singapore prices
It suggests products that fit, such as grab bars, shower chairs or walking aids, with prices from Singapore shops, and can compare two to four side by side.
Subsidies you may qualify for
It explains the schemes that may apply, including AIC's Seniors' Mobility and Enabling Fund (SMF), HDB EASE, EASE (Private) and the Home Caregiving Grant, and sends you to AIC or HDB to confirm.
The right tool for the next step
When it helps, it opens the Subsidy Checker, the Care Cost Estimator, Find Care Services or Doctor Visit Notes, so you do not have to start again.
Four languages, typed or spoken
Ask in English, Chinese, Malay or Tamil. It replies in the language you write in. Tap the microphone to speak, or Listen to hear a reply read aloud.
Write the way you would explain it to a friend. For example:
Dad fell in the toilet last week. What should we change at home?
Can we get a subsidy for a wheelchair?
Mum is coming home from hospital on Friday. What do we need?
What is the difference between SMF and EASE?
Compare shower chairs under $100.
The Advisor is not a doctor, a nurse or a government officer. It does not diagnose, it does not tell you a dose, and it never says you definitely qualify for a scheme. For care services, it points you to the AIC hotline on 1800-650-6060 or to Find Care Services. If an answer looks wrong, tap “Report this answer” under it.
Yes. The Advisor is free to use. Sign-in is optional.
